I enjoy running at night &#8211; but not on narrow hemmed-in trails with lots of obstacles under-foot. This makes the otherwise boring Firebreak road sections of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail system above Farmington the perfect option. With the temperatures cool, I don&#8217;t overheat, I feel great, and only occasionally psych myself into thinking I see glowing eyes watching me. Run!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">On Monday I started at Davis Creek and ran north. It felt great, I didn&#8217;t slow down and walk at all &#8211; just kept on going (albeit slow at times) and I PRd on a bunch of segments. Great run!<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/217962206\" target=\"_blank\">4.5 miles in 43:55 @ 9:43 min\/mile and with 411 ft. elevation gain<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<!-- iframe plugin v.6.0 wordpress.org\/plugins\/iframe\/ -->\n<iframe height=\"405\" width=\"590\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/216884447\/embed\/c05db12ba94cdf8e75ffedc23ee5c3757600d3f9\" class=\"iframe-class\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">On Thursday I started at the same place, but went south onto some trails and dirt roads I haven&#8217;t been on before. It was snowing and there was a THICK fog bank that my route kept on climbing into, descending out of, climbing back into, etc&#8230; When I got back to my car I couldn&#8217;t see it until I was about 10 ft. away &#8211; it was that thick.
