- This was my first hydration pack. I love it. It doesn’t bounce AT ALL. I can fit 2 liters of water, plus plenty of room for other gear, snacks, phone, even a ice cold bottle of soda to enjoy at the top of a mountain. For runs up to 10 miles, this is my go-to pack. For longer ones, I am starting to use my Nathan VaporWave (below).
- I just picked this up to use on longer self-supported runs – 15+ milers runs where I don’t want to worry about knowing where mountain springs are located to refill water. It has more capacity for gear and food. And I can add 2 bottle on the front chest pockets. Currently, I’m going to try out these highly-rated Ultimate Direction 20 oz. Water Bottles
